What exactly is a “Refresh”?
You Start with Existing Cabinet Boxes: As a Kitchen Refresh franchisee, after you sell a project, you work with a client’s existing cabinet boxes, and submit an order to the Kitchen Refresh production center for us to manufacture all NEW doors with concealed soft-close hinges, and all NEW drawer fronts, and related components. After manufacture, your order will ship to your studio or other shipping site. Your location then installs the components and completes other work using yourself, or employees or contractors trained to our systems. With our process, ONLY the cabinet boxes are painted - all the new doors and drawer fronts arrive pre-finished and ready to install.
Flexible System: The Refresh process also accommodates cabinet layout changes, cabinet additions or deletions, island additions, new drawer boxes, cabinet storage upgrades, soffit extensions and much more as part of the Refresh process.
Other Upgrades: Kitchen Refresh franchisees also coordinate the installation of new countertops, backsplash, and flooring.

Our Process
Here is a quick overview of the Kitchen Refresh process that clients experience.
Step 1: Consultation
The process begins with performing an in-home, design studio or virtual consultation to understand a client’s needs, wants and budget, and coming up with a design plan for their kitchen.

Step 2: Measure
After a consultation, once the client decides to move forward, you will collect payment and complete measurements for the manufacture of all new doors and drawer fronts, and any cabinet layout changes that would require some cabinet additions or removals, and other improvements that are part of their transformation.

Step 3: Custom Manufacture
Your order for doors, drawer fronts, and other cabinet components are sent to our Kitchen Refresh manufacturing facility to be produced.

Step 4: Cabinet Box Painting
Once an order arrives to your studio, you begin scheduling the project into your client queue, which will include painting ONLY the cabinet boxes, as well as other work that may need to be completed (new countertops, backsplash, flooring, etc.).

Step 5: Door and Drawer Front Installation
Once cabinet box painting is complete, then the new doors and drawer fronts go in.

$2,500 initial franchise fee?
Is it true Kitchen Refresh has a net initial franchise fee as low as $2,500? Yes.
We offer 3 net initial franchise fee tiers: Tier 3 for $2,500, Tier 2 for $12,500 and Tier 1 for $25,000.
The compromise of starting as a Tier 3 is you will pay us a higher wholesale rate for your doors and drawer fronts. However, Tier 3 can be a great option for those who lack the necessary capital and would otherwise not be able to become a franchisee. And, most Tier 3 franchisees advance to the next higher tier within their first 6-12 months of being a Kitchen Refresh franchisee.
